Living in Elviria
Elviria residents enjoy a high quality of life as you'd expect, partly due to the great weather conditions - over 300 days of sunshine a year - but also due to the quality and availaibility of the facilities.
Here's a quick list of some of the thngs in Elviria that many enjoy:
Weather - Long hot summers, short cool winters, not too much rain and mainly clear bright blue skies.
Sandy beaches and sea - Swimming, wind-surfing, kite-boarding, sailing, boating, fishing Most homes are only a few minutes from the beach.
Mountains - Elviria is sandwiched between the sea and the mountains, so you are pretty well-assured of great views. Most homes are only a few minutes from great mountain walks.
Golf courses - No explaining needed really, but some of the best golf-course in the world are here, and there is plenty of choice.
Restaurants - There are too many to choose from, and you'll find a lot of very good competing restaurants. It's actually difficult to stay in!
Schools - If you've got kids, there are several local schools with a high standard of education and good reputations.
Shopping - Again, spoilt for choice. Elviria has a good range. Marbella and Fuengirola both have absolutely everything you could think of.
People - Elviria residents are quite a mixture, but most have come here to enjoy their life to the full. A range of nationalities and with Spanish or English as the predominate language.
Sporting Activities - Aside from the obvious golf and water sports, there are tennis clubs, a large health club within 7km, and several other gyms nearby. Cycling is popular.
